Horizons are a classic case where the rule of thirds often improves a composition. Try cropping the bottom of the image so that the horizon is about a third into the image. The 2 subjects are already roughly a third in from the edges. Cheers, Damien

Even though it's a tiny part of the image, the viewer's eye is always drawn to the face. Joe
