These are good! #1 is the only one where the grain is a bit too much for my taste. Other than that, really like this set, especially #4.

Another great set! Your posing and composition is very very good. The only one I might have changed is the shot with the top of his head showing. I just feel guy's do not want to see how bald they are going. In that one, crop would ruin it so in some cases I might fill it in just a bit. We all think we have a bunch of hair up there anyway even if we don't. :)

love them but like others the grain is a bit too distracting for me.

I like the shots but I agree with a little too much grain.

I guess I just don't understand why one would buy equipment that has the least amount of inherent grain and try to use it in such a way as to eliminate or reduce the grain and then turn around and add a big dose of it in post.

Good point, and our style of striving to avoid grain, I agree on why add a big dose in post. I guess each has their own style and if their client likes it, that is all that matters. The photos remind me of old photos in magazines like Life magazine (showing my age here) or similar that had that very grainy look but had a very unique quality in the composition and style that pulled it off and made them very interesting.

My wife was an art major and she loves the crops done here with not the whole face showing and the posing that is being used. And I also think more a European thing.

In the states, most brides and grooms find it difficult or do not want to pose as shown here. In many cases they were brought up looking at their parents wedding photos and they have that mind set that is what has to be done. We cringe when the bride and groom want to do all those formal shots, especially in the church, looking like a police line up. You want to try new things and suggest but hey, they are paying the bill so we do what they want. We still get them to be creative and think outside the box, and some do.

Way too heavy on the grain for me. The artefacts it has created aren't appealing imho.
