The F Word

Gonna go out on a limb with this one...

they re-topped our parking lot and so I had and idea an ran with it.

Yashica, Model C
80mm Yashikor Lens (fixed)
f/3.6
1 second exposure
Kodak Ektar 100 speed 120 film.

DSLR Scanned with a Canon 6D and a 100L.
Post process, aka the "digital print" done in PS.

C&C appreciated...I feel like the color shift is a tad greener than Ektar normally but also that it might work for this shot.

hehe hey guys thanks for the comments...yes it needs straightened a tad!

The DOF is a nice function of shooting 120 (ie medium format)...
really makes f/3.5 look nice!

And yes, F is for Film which Flushes your cash
but the colors are Fantastic without using a Flash!

...good grief I must be tired.

I'm a fan of the greenish tint. Nice shot!

Might not hurt to straighten slightly but I don't think it needs it that badly.

I'm afraid the greenish isn't native to Ektar...but it's very tricky to find a baseline to translate color film accurately...
though I may have a new technique to try soon!

That is really f'ing neat.
