Sigma 18-35 f1.8 vs Sony Zeiss 24 f1.8 on a6300?

2 parts:

1. In terms of image quality, can the Sigma match the Zeiss or outperform it? Otherwise, kind of pointless to carry extra weight for the focal length.
2. Does the 18-35 perform well in video mode when on MC-11? i.e. Can it be as fast as native Sony/Zeiss lenses?
