Advice Please for Lens foot for Canon 500mm f/4

I've been using my Manfrotto 393 in photo for the past year. I have decided to replace this for a Wimberley Head WH-200 Mk II.
I will be using this on a Gitzo GT3542XLS tripod. I live in the UK and there does not appear to be many choices of lens plate or foot choices other than the wimberley P plates. Please I welcome any recommendations on what you are using. I'm tending to favour more a replacement foot. Also who to purchase from.....thank you Regards Paul

I use a Kirk replacement foot for my 500, from WEX I think!

Nicer than the original foot, it's a bit lower in profile, I'd recommend it.

Not the cheapest but every bit as good as my Kirk and Wimberley plates. The one I have linked to may not be the size that you want but they make plenty of alternatives.

Thanks John....The Kiwifotos looks great value for money. I'm surprised there are just a few brands I was expecting many to choose from. I will order a few for my lighter lenses that are not the priority at the moment and have looked at the Jobu. My Wimberley arrives on Friday so will make a decision in the next few days.

I bought my Wimberley used and it came with a Wimberley plate so I didn't need to get a plate for my largest lens. I am currently using the Kiwifotos plates on my 300 F2.8 and 100-400 - can't fault them.

I bought my Wimberley and Gitzo plus Winberley plate from B&H in New York. Since I signed up they send me their catalogue on a regular basis. They ship international orders so it would be worth looking n their website just to check out the cost.

Unfortunately we get hit with VAT and collection fees when buying from the US here - it has cost me in the past!

Allowing for VAT, collection fee and shipping the cost isn't much different.
