Would you consider an even trade for a 40mm 2.8 pancake?

Thanks for your interest and the trade offer. I'd like to sell the lens to fund another mirrorless purchase. You did remind me that I probably need to repost this lens at some point.

IMHO there is nothing about this lens that's not to like. Great range of focal lengths, not the fastest glass - but with today's available ISOs, so what? Solid IQ - maybe not billboard quality, but who regularly shoots billboards? and its MFD makes it great for close-ups.

At today's cheap prices (this lens is a steal!), my copy will NEVER be offered for sale. From time to time I'll mount it to my 5D or 1D4 (which will also NEVER be offered for sale), and its images will predictably put smiles on my face. While I have a shelf full of L lenses, my respect for this lens keeps it on the same shelf.

All this lens does is take great images.

Good luck with your sale.

Had one. Agree. This lens offers very good IQ, for very little money.

I am still using a 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5. It is extremely good at f/5.6, and even better at f/8. The 28-135mm is even better. You don't have to spend large to get good results.

GLWS.
