The Seine has burst it's banks and whilst shooting some of the carnegie it became a who's who of Paris photographers. I bumped into many colleagues and everyone in Paris with a camera was walking along the Quais. I thought we could start a thread here to showcase some of the best flood images we might have.
Personally I found the challenge was to portray how high the water levels really are. By looking at the river alone, you could be forgiven for not knowing they swallowed roads and gardens whole. For this reason I tried to concentrate on elements that displayed a clear indication of the sheer rise in water level.
Ill post two images here, and there are more on my blog http://www.aperturetours.com/blog/paris-floods-in-pictures
, but you show me. What are your best Paris flood images.
