Hope this is in the right place . I am trying ti find out how to transfer pics from my Macbook Air new Photos program , not iphoto , to an sd card . Searching has given me no usable information . Since my wife updated me out of iphoto into this new Photo program I have been seriously derailed . Please note , I am seriously computer illiterate and my wife doesn't know Mac very well .
I want to put selected pics on the sd card so I can take them some where to have prints made , probably like a Walgreens since they are only for personal use .
Thanks for any help .

3 Choose the setting you need to print the photos (High res Jpeg should be fine) Click Export on the bottom right.

This is not necessary. You can simply upload them to Walgreens.com and order from the location of your choice, then pick them up shortly thereafter. They make the whole process pretty easy.
