Saw one of these at my feeder here in the Atlanta area last week. Didn't know what it was till I looked it up. Surprised me that he spent most of his time on the ground instead of on the feeder. Didn't act like the other two species of woodpeckers that show up.

Thank you Doug. They are really beautiful I have a few regulars from feeders too. They don't mess around with other Jays like the Steller's Jay.
