Here's another one...f/8 @ 200mm. Also cropped for the web...haven't had the chance to do much post processing.

That's a sweet little bird. I had this lens and it's capable of very fine results in the right hands.

I'll be joining you in that club very soon. Just need to wait for sigma to fix the 500 lw/ph problem with my lens, expecting it back sometime next week.

Thanks, everyone!:) I am really enjoying having this lens on my XT. I can't stop taking pictures...my husband and children are starting to complain! LOL:lol: Even the dog is hiding from me...probably saying, "Will you please just leave me alone? Didn't you get enough shots of me already?" I know my images are not as great as the ones you all post, but I'm still happy, having fun, and learning. I hope these test shots will at least help somebody decide whether they want the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 or not.

Thanks again for the comments!

Imrtun: I hope you get your problem resolved. When you get your Sig 70-200mm, make sure you post some pictures.:)

Of course I will! I plan on doing some urban and performing arts as soon as I get it back! Cheers for the kind words.
