Hello guys. First off, i want to say that i'm a newbie when it comes to flash/strobe photography. I've had two Canon 600EX-RT and a ST-E3-ST for about two years now. I recently picked up my first strobe and it came as a package; PCB Einstein E640, Cyber Commander, Cybersync Transreceiver, and Vagabond Mini. How do get my canon stuff to work with the E640 and Cyber Commander?

Gear Summary:
Two Canon 600EX-RT
Canon ST-E3-RT
PCB Einstein E640
Cyber Commander
Cybersync Transreceiver

Do i need to purchase other transmitters or am I able to keep what i have and add a few receivers to my setup?

Any help would really be helpful. Thank you.

In the past year both Yongnuo and Phottix have developed Wireless RT receivers which makes this integration of the Canon Wireless RT system and the PCB Cyber Syncs much easier then in the past. All you need to do is place either the Cyber Commander or a Cyber Sync transmitter in either a Yongnuo YNE3-RX receiver or a Phottix Laso receiver which will trigger your PCB flashes. I personally use a Cyber Sync transmitter and just use the Cyber Commander, which I keep in my pocket, to make flash adjustments. You then use either the 600EX-RT or ST-E3-RT as the Master. You set the above mentioned RT receiver just as you would an RT Slave flash but in this case it is just triggering a PCB transmitter. All adjustments to the Canon flashes is made through the Master and all adjustments to the PCB strobes is made through the Cyber Commander. You can mount the RT receiver with the PCB transmitter to a light stand, to a tripod or just throw it on the ground (just don't step on it).

The main issue I had was the Cyber Commander's screen is almost impossible to see out in the sun. I used a Hoodman loupe but it was just another piece of equipment to always remember and you always had multiple transmitters, receivers, etc... to deal with.
