Maureen and Skip,

First, our best wishes for a speedy recovery and a really warm get well soon.

Second, I'm amazed by the courage of exposing such pics. Yes, you have a lot of friends here and that's what frends are for. But still, exposing in a public forum is something I would have been in huge difficulty to do.

This only demonstrates what we all have learned reading you posts (yours and Skip's). The sense of humour, the sense of life, the pleasure to share in picture such difficult moment with a lot of people is what I appreciate the most.
Honestly, I won't have had the guts to do this. It's a very private moment and being able to share it demonstrates only a lot of good things.

Our best wishes to both of you, get out of there soon, there are billions of wonderful pictures to take outside.

Some things are too important and too personal not to share. This is something we decided to do together..... if any of you are over 50 and haven't seen a cardiologist or know you have high blood pressure and/or high cholesterol levels, go get a cardiac check-up. It could save your lives.

You are right Robb...it was hard to do this but Skip wanted to. We are still planning on our trip to Italy and Grecce in 10 weeks so I am still planning on a visit with you, sir:D :D

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Maureen and Skip, all the best from Texas! Knowing you have this many friends has got to speed up Skip's recovery. Give him a camera and I'm sure he'll be up quicker!! Our prayers are for you today!

All the best of luck with the recovery process!

My wife went into the hospital for a few surgeries in october and is recently out, but still has a long road ahead!

They were quite insistant that I was not allowed to photograph her at all in any way even though I had her in a private suite becuase of the new privacy laws. I snuck a few for her(as she'd requested) anyway.

Anyway, back on point...congrats on it going well, and again best of luck.

Yes, its about time for a full checkup.

While Skip recovers, you two better start planning the trip :) Italy and Greece together means a LOT to see, so make sure your plans give you the time to do all is needed. If anything is needed, just ask and I'll do what I can. And of course, when you'll stop in Rome, I have a couple if unusual spots to show, and a place or two to eat that you'll find interesting ;)

I just talked to my mom. It seems when my dad woke up he wasn't feeling good, so he called up to my mom's phone and asked her to put on her clothes so she could take him to the emergency room because he was having chest pains. He's in intensive care right now, and he's stable. He's going to stay tonight, tomorrow, and then Monday he's going to get an angiogram. This will be his 5th or 6th one. My mom is guessing it might be the stint they put in there a couple of years ago. I just hope nothing big is going down.

Perhaps the red scar on his chest makes him an "L"

again, best wishes for recovery.
