heading to ireland and wanted to know where i can go for castles. i dont like the idea of a guided tour i wanted something more off the beaten path, some very old ones. I've been to Shannon just last week, and visited the area near Dingle which i love but was unable to see or visit castles.
any recommendations of castles within 2 hour drive from Shannon?
