The iceberg lagoon at Jokulsarlon is wonderful but for me the early morning beach scene
was just amazing. A bit dangerous, seriously cold, but I've nothing like it anywhere else-

No I live in southeastern USA.
What do they do there for a living?
Good question. I only saw service workers (restaurants) and farmers.
I did see salmon farms in the Fjords but never anybody tending them.
Lot's of work in the tourist industry I think.
Not a place I'd want to live.....we enjoyed no dark nights but I wouldn't want the
counter=months of darkness.

Hehe, we tipped back a bit of Icelandic vodka while there. Sadly it is grain vodka, we prefer
potato.
