Really nice captures,

It's good to see Red Kites doing so well in many regions in the UK at the moment, I often see them in the M4 corridor now as they spread further south from the southern end of the Chilterns.

It's a pity we've got a nutter (or group of nutters) that seem to have a liking for taking pot-shots at the Yorkshire ones. 7 reported shot & killed in North Yorkshire over recent weeks vmad

So sad to hear of that, I know a few years back they were having persecution problems on the Derwent re-introduction programme in Northumberland. There's been some successful prosecutions against such persecution in recent years but the penalties/sentences seem very soft to me.

Fingers crossed that whoever it is gets stopped soon.
