Here's my last macro picture ! And my first butterfly of this year ! This time, i took the Canon 70D of my neigbour, very practice with his swivel screen !

Extremely nice shot, well done. I like macro, but seldom check the macro section in this forum as so many are done with, in my mind, very harsh flash. I don't care for flash, at least not when it's obvious it has been used. It seems your shot was with available light. If you did use flash, it was well done.

Its a beautiful shot Alex, direct sun can be harsher than flash sometimes but it is clearly ambient.

It is not what we call a Holly Blue (Celastrina argiolus) in the UK http://www.ukbutterfli​es.co.uk/species.php?s​pecies=argiolus (external link), as your are in France are the common names different? This looks more like one of the other blues we get in the UK, perhaps one we don't get.

Yes in France we have a different name : Papillon bleu azuré
When i search holy blue on 500px for exemple, i find pictures with the same butterfly, that's why i tought that is a Holy blue !
