Does an older 35mm lens that matches the 50mm 1.4 USM and 85mm 1.8 USM exist?

The newer design Canon 24mm f/2.8 IS, 28mm f/2.8 IS, and 35mm f/2 IS all look the same.

The older design Canon 28mm f/1.8 USM, 50mm f/1.4 USM, 85mm f/1.8 USM, and 100mm f/2 USM all look the same.

Is there an older design 35mm with USM without IS that looks like the older design 50mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/1.8? I have looked but not found one.

Nope, there's only the one without USM.

They made a 35mm 1.4L with USM

Take a way the red ring and add a gold one and it looks like the other usm lenses. Just with way better quild quality.

There is the 28mm f1.8 that matches the 50 and 85mm lenses.

Yes. Thank you. There is a Canon 20mm f/ 2.8 USM, 28mm f/1.8 USM, 50mm f/1.4 USM, 85mm f/1.8 USM that all look the same. I now have the 28, the 50, and the 85. But I am thinking about getting the 10-18mm STM zoom instead of the 20mm, because everyone talks about how sharp it is and of course how wide it goes. And I would not need a larger aperture for what I would use that for. If I take pictures of groups of people during the day I would be fine, and if I would take morning or evening or night landscapes or interiors I would use a tripod.

Paint all your lenses in pink, and they will all look the same ;)

Odd question, I'd say. Why does it matter what the lens looks like?

That old EF 35 mm f/2 is similar to EF 50 mm f/1.8 in looks and construction.
