The Finnish Aviation Museum is located near the Helsink Airport adjacent to a train station for easy transport. They have an extensive collection regarding civilian flight, including gliders, baloons and even parachutes. There are very few samples of military aviation including the wreck of a BF-109 that was pulled out of a lake. Outside the museum are two Mig-21s in decent condition considering that they have been left outside to the elements. Inside is a Saab Draken. Both the Migs and the Draken had the ability to fly Mach 2, something that the modern Finnish F-18s are unable to do.
