My 5D3 has been sitting around barely used in the last 9 months. I figure it's time to sell it, somebody else might be able to appreciate it more than I am currently. It has 17,272 clicks on it, and is in excellent shape with just one mark that I can find, near the shutter button on the edge near the shutter dial (see 3rd pic), which I think it came with when I ordered it from the Canon refurbs 2 years ago. The LCDs had screen protectors on it, so there are no marks on either one, they are perfect. Comes with a factory battery and 2 Wasabi aftermarket batteries.

This has been a great body, and I have used it for portraits, weddings, and NBA sports. I have a Meike grip that is identical to the Canon, complete with a joystick in the portrait position. The E1 handgrip is not included, you wouldn't want it anyways, it has my DNA all over it. :)

Asking $1795 without the grip shipped via priority (I will split insurance if desired).
Asking $85 for the grip and 2 extra aftermarket batteries separately, or $65 if added to the 5D3 package.

I am accepting paypal, google checkout, or a USPS money order (3% discount). There is no factory warranty left on this.

About 80% of what I shoot is sports, and I often need reach, and the ISO performance is very, very good at the high end. There just isn't a compelling reason to use the 5D3 over that. If it doesn't sell, no biggie... I figure I will end up with the new 5D whenever they announce it, assuming it will have the newly improved sensor design. :)

I am sure I will be upset later if I sell it though, it is the way things always seem to end up.

FYI: your ad does not come up when searching for "5DIII" or "5D Mark III". Possibly consider asking MODS to alter the title for better visibility/searchability.

Thanks and request sent. I have this on Amazon as well, and with the price hike that went into effect presumably on Father's Day, I suspect I will end up getting it sold there. :)

Just curious. I have an Amazon seller account but have never used it since E-bay selling scares me. Is Amazon significantly different in fees and/or protections?

EDIT:
Jeez, that was quick. Are you a MOD?

Nope, but the mods are very fast here on POTN! :)

Amazon is cleaner to sell under. They list your fees up front, show you what your allocated shipping allowance is going to be, and you can print your shipping label after the sale and they take care of all the tracing and contact out to the customer. However, Amazon is much stricter at seller policies, basically the buyer can do anything, like return the product to you, etc. You just have to be ready for bad buyers.

The fees are pretty steep, I think listing this at $1975, the fees will be around $165 or so, and shipping (but Amazon pays you a little toward shipping and they give you shipping discounts).
