Nice shots. I agree that you should open that lens up more and increase the distance from subject to background. More isolation of the subjects would really improve these a lot.

Jun 30, 2016 18:59 | #17 Thanks for the comments. I really haven't used the 85 for what it was designed for. I use the speed of it to shoot evening city shots. I have found if I open it up too much the shallow dof is a **** with getting just the eye in focus and ears and nose out, but your right I just need more practise. I really have to give props to those that do this for a living, sh-t isn't easy between playing with the lights for exposure and getting the subjects to hold a pose and then the wife packing around the camera bag and light.
