I sold a Canon 15mm here on the board a few weeks ago, and now regret the sale. If you had to do a do over, which of these 2 lenses would you go with? I know the I can get the Canon for around $400, and the Samyang for about $300, so money is not that big of an issue.

The Canon is a fisheye. The Sammy is not. Vastly different lenses. If you want fisheye, go with the Rokinon 12mm f/2.8 FE. Fantastic lens. If you want an auto-focus FE, look at the Sigma 15mm FE. Razor sharp wide open at f/2.8, and focuses a bit closer than the Canon. IMHO, the Canon is about the worst you can do in this range.

You sure that Canon 15mm FE is worse than Sigma 15mm FE?

in my experience they are very close. I own the sigma but that's only because I got a much better price.
