Does any one use it?
Is it worth the money?
What are the Pro V. Con. of it?

Never heard of it, so Googled for reviews. Mainly pro but some con.

Here's one: https://photographylife.com/reviews/jpegmini (external link)

Personally, since I'm nowhere near short of file storage space (which is cheap these days) I wouldn't pay for this software that would add an extra level of complexity to my workflow.

It uses the JPEG compression algorithm so it gets the same level of quality vs compression as Lightroom or any other software that does JPEG compression.

What it does different is to choose the optimum level of compression to apply to each image, saving you the effort of trying 2 or 3 different levels. If you think that is worth $149 knock yourself out. Personally I am not worried about saving a few meg here or there. I have LR set to 70% and that seems to work fine.

Hard drive real estate is super cheap these days, and getting cheaper. For $149 I can buy 6TB of storage. I don't see the point of this software.

Worth every penny, I see no loss in quality and files sizes cut in ~2. Much better than Lr compression IMO. The pro integrates as an export option with Lr and will compress larger files than the regular. I use the regular. Storage is cheep but moving big files about and the time it takes to do such is where you will save. If you produce a lot of images it's worth it, if you don't perhaps not. I did drop my main folder on my Mac into it and saves a few Gbs of space on my SSD. Bonus.

I imagine the bigger purpose is in saving bandwidth online. (tho even that will become less of an issue over time)

So I got the diet version of Jpeg mini... Able to shrink my photos a lot and they load twice as quick onto facebook.. Hope to use it to update my website and make it more mobile friendly.

LR, PSE, and even Picasa can do that, quite easily, and without spending any money. Still not seeing the point of this. Sounds like a left-handed screwdriver to me.

Only $20... And It will shrink a 20mg file down to 3mg and keep all the quality.. I will be doing a lot of photos uploading for Church and I was taking longer to shrink them in post in lightroom so I gave the JPGMini a try and it was very fast and does a good job so I figured why not...

Are you using this with Lightroom, as a plug-in, an extra Export funyion, or is it an extra program/function?
