Sounds like fun...

And you could always use GMT as the time zone...the assignments over on FM are done that way.

I'm assuming it's peered voting only, meaning only participants get to vote on any photo but their own?

edit: from similar game I've played, all peers must vote or be disqualified, had 1 week to vote, threads would definitely overlap. That was with 40 players, had a moderator tally the votes.

It sounds like it could wind up much too complicated. Wouldn't it be much more fun just to submit themed photos for the week without the need of judging, voting, moderating...?

The solution is in the rules - "The person who sets the weeks theme picks their favourite at end of week. The person chosen as favourite choses the next weeks theme"

Is everyone ok with that? Open to suggestions but at least this way the person choosing the theme will change weekly

OK heres my "Homeland" entry. I was planning on posting a Scottish landscape that I took today but when I got back to my car I noticed a Scottish Thistle growing near by so decided that I would go with that as my interpretation of homeland. The thistle is the national flower of Scotland.

Gonna try and participate. But I'm already thinking I might miss a few weeks here and there.
As long as it forces me out of my comfort zone and to shoot more, then I consider this a success.

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.
