I saw a post somewhere that you were on the Jackson Street Bridge...did you take any pictures?

Yes! What a thrill to be there! I could see Rick Grimes on his horse :) Lots of photographers there.
AND BUT BUT BUT didn't you all tell me the bridge moves :( I missed that first time but did an long exposure, zoom in to chimp and the building
was blurry! WTF???? So did another one, and then noticed every time a vehicle goes by the bridge moves! Arrrrrrg. Oh well still a great place to visit.
Knowing where I live you do know how stressful it is for me to even go to a place like that----way out of my comfort zone. So we got in and got out! HA!
I think my best/fav shot was with the Olympus using the Live Composite mode. I did some with the Sony and the 5Dsr, so maybe I'll get something out
of them--fingers crossed.

Thanks to everyone that participated images this week. I enjoyed them all.

This week's winner is MedicineMan with his image of the trees reflecting in the water and a touch of Fall color in the leaves. Beautiful spot and image. Well done!

Finally made it home, so here is my official entry into this weeks photo challenge. This is the same spot I did the Milky Way
from earlier this spring and that's my house right across the lake, forgot to mention for the bigger version I also posted at
FredMiranda, even more, I used the Smooth-Reflections app for the cloud blur :)

Haha! Well thanks!
Now the pressure is on ME to find next weeks topic.
I don't think this week's was quite fair to the members out west since a lot of
our participating members don't have the fall color bounty we do here in the east, or just can't get
to it.
I'll come up with something universal like when wheels was the topic.
How long do I have to pick the topic?

OK I've been thinking. First thanks everyone for the kind words. Just a good group we have here. I'm worried though when my
a99ii comes in, I won't get to post you guys as much then :(
OK, back to the topic--one thing I can promise it won't be-birds!

Well, actually Nadim's sunset pier shot would have counted if taken after the theme was announced. The image didn't have to be fall foliage, just fall colors that included red, yellow, or orange.

I don't know when the new theme needs to be announced but sooner is better I think.

OK next week's theme is STREET PHOTOGRAPHY. A genre I know nothing about, have little access to. I think I can
get to Asheville in 1.5 hours-that will be my closest venue.
I know so little about it I googled:

'Street photography is a type of photography that features subjects in candid situations within public places. Street photographs are mirror images of society, displaying “unmanipulated” scenes, with usually unaware subjects.”

I notice it doesn't say urban, so I wonder if I'm standing on a road/asphalt and get a candid of Farmer Joe on his tractor is that street photography? From what else I googled it implies people in city scenes eh?

Regardless I think most members here have access to cities/streets so lets go for it!

Way out of your comfort zone MM. Respect!

I'll try to head into the city sometime this week.
