Been on my front steps for at least 3 hours. Wife wants me to leave it alone and let nature take its course (neighborhood gang of cats). Until the sun set the mom/mate was flying around.

For the bird homocide sleuths out there...

I did leave a little food for the bird, as the wife's request last night, on the 2nd step in the picture. This morning, when I left for work @7, I saw all the poo, food scattered, adult robin nearby. Running late, took a single pic of the potential crime scene. Took another when I got home, food gone but poop pattern mostly unchanged. She also saw ?mom hanging around the steps when she left @8. No robins when she got back @ 10 or when I got home.

Any thoughts? Me thinks, birdie got #2 scared out of him.
