Hello all, I recently bought a 1D MKIV. I upgraded from the MKII. I have shot with my 70-200 non iS a ton on the MKII and never had focus issues. With the MKIV I can not seem to get any images sharp with the 70-200. I have tried other lens and it seems to be fine. I have read the older lens don't work well with newer bodies. I have googled images for 70-200 non IS and MKiv and seen great images. I to the point of sell all my gear and starting over. Any one have any ideas?

Have you attempted to do an AF microadjustment of the lens to the camera? Custom function III-7 in the camera functions.

I used to shoot with that lens on my 1DIV and had no problems.

Getting a "lock tone" is not doing a micro focus adjustment, is that what you did?
