Out walking the dog tonight before sunset.

There is a dead (presumabaly, but maybe not) tree that we walk past. Last week, I noticed a green leaf in the hole left by a branch that had been cut long ago. I had to come back.

Hey, Rad, that is really super.

Anytime anyone comes back to a scene to make an image, the odds are that it will be good - probably has something to do with picking your time and lighting, as opposed to grab shots.

I especially like the juxtaposition of the new birth framed in the death of the old growth.
