Great shots of the triplets. They are somewhat of a rarity. One old doe down by my creek has had triplets two years in a row. Haven't seen her yet this summer to see this years fawns. Hopefully you will be able to photograph these guys through out the summer and fall. Thanks for sharing.:-)

Thanks for your comments and take on this family Terry. I too thought it pretty rare.
Seems to me there are too many deer out there on the island and they are also beginning to lose their fear of man.
The doe still has milk, but she doesn't put up long with their suckling which I'll bet has turned to nibbling ! ;-)a

I'm sure the decline in hunting, the lack of predators and abundant food supply plays into the number of births... (?)

I won't be back up there again till the fall, but rest assured I'll be keeping an eye out for them !
