So, okay, maybe he isn't a REAL model. :P
This is the second shoot I have done for Outward Hound. Not for pay, they just sent me their new pack for free, I took some shots of Maximus walking around Grand Haven, MI, and they are putting together a blog post with him and links to my site. I figured it was a fair trade. :) Plus it's more for Maximus to have fun and get out anyway.

Here are a few of my favs.

It was a hot day so we started early. Called for 90F later. It was about 80F at this time. Plus, the waves are much more tame in the early AM. We spent about 1.5 hrs at the beach and boy did it tire him out!

#1 We started at the dog beach on the South end of the beach. Max is afraid of swimming and not a fan of waves either.

#2 He's observing the calm water and weighing the pros/cons of going in the "scary" water vs cooling off.

#3 He slowly started pulling me in and got more and more brave.

#5 A swell came and he ended up swimming for a few. He seemed to be enjoying it as I was comforting him and walking along side him.

#6 Stopped for a drink and to take the saddle bags off for a few. He had been carrying his water bowl and water for both of us the entire time!

#7 He even made a new friend on the pier!

#8 And one last shot before heading home where Maximus would sleep for the next 14 hours! This is probably my favorite shot!

Should buy him larger saddle bags, then he can carry your camera gear. :-)

Some of my gear would fit now, and I thought about it, but he runs into stuff and shakes all the time. lol
