Interested to see how someone who hasn't been staring at it perceives it. I'm starting to feel like it looks over-processed.

I don't think it looks over processed per se, but the blatant and oddly positioned lens flare looks gimmicky and weird. As for the model, well-- she looks a bit stiff, hunched over, hands clenched, unsure of herself and kind of like she wants to ask you to stop taking photos of her but is too polite to actually say it.

The lighting and the location are nice though. Hope that helps

Over processed? No, I don't think so. My take on it is: She's a beautiful woman, so don't get me wrong here, but the image has a spooky feel to it. Her stance, manner of dress, and the stark background make her look kind of witchy.

I like the lighting.
She should be on the left side of the frame, not the right, she's currently looking out of the frame.
The "flare" doesn't portray a lens flare, it looks like an oddly misplaced brush.
Model is lovely but very stiff. Arms should be more fluid, if a joint bends, bend it. Feet should have more space between them.

To me it looks like an old photograph, before it has started to yellow and fade. And yeah, that lens flare doesn't work. First thing my eyes were drawn to when the photo popped up.

Thanks guys!!

Believe it or not the lens flare is natural! I agree my girlfriend does look stiff, still working on the basics of photography before I can start with composition. Great feedback to keep in mind though.

I like the processing... but not the crop. There's too much uninteresting/distracting stuff in the upper left and top and left IMHO
