Shooting the semi's and final this weekend. Went out Wed. to get a feel for it. Here are a few. C&C is always good.

Super job for a pro, these are really great for a first timer. Outstanding job! Love the tightness and the use of light.

These are all absolutely pin sharp and the colours look nice and natural so I really can't fault anything with these.

The only problem you're going to have is trying to improve on these next time you shoot tennis. There's really not much room for improvement at all.

Most of these with the 400 2.8. Couple of them with the 70-200.

The Mark II is currently at CPS for a puzzling issue. :(

But for the issue, it is a nice camera. The AF is a bit better. The larger buffer and CFast cards are nice. Though the jury is still out for me on whether it was worth the $$ to sell one of my 1dx's and upgrade.

Great work. Isn't tennis fun to shoot? Focus on one player at a time, ball constantly coming to that player. What could be better?

Hard to C/C a master! Love the third one with the player airborne.

Yes, it is a sweet gig. Singles is easy to shoot. Doubles a bit tougher. The challenge is trying to find different angles so that you don't end up with the same picture over and over again.

Yup and you did it well. For me, using the two lenses you used is the key.

Nice job - emotions captured, ball in shot. Suggest some of players with background banners/environment to provide feel and location. Parents always seem to select/choose one to remember that specific event. The windscreen/chain link fence in the background all look alike and they can't tell which tournament was which.

Got some of that stuff on the weekend.
