These are shots of Alaska from 2007. They were made with a borrowed Canon D60 (not 60D) and were my first digital excursion. I was still thinking of the sensor as a piece of film so there are errors that would not be made today. Having said that, these are newly processed from the original RAW files. I am continually surprised at how much can be made of those old digital files.

And then there is Alaska itself. No place quite like it. These were made in June. The first is from Independence Mine State Park north of Anchorage and the second is Upper Trail Lake near Moose Pass on the Kenai Peninsula. Enjoy!!

.

I love that you were able to get a portion of a dark cloud to embrace the top edge of the image (image #2). That is awesome!

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Thanks. That part of Alaska has some dramatic skies most of the summer. Days are long but full sun is a bit rare.
I continue to be amazed at how much detail is in skies that is not immediately obvious.
