My wife alerted me to this one yesterday. I had time to change to my macro lens and get outside and still capture some shots. This one seems considerably more colorful than the one our daughter showed me last year.

Nice area and LOTS of history ![]() Thank you. Yes, it does have history and is near some very nice natural areas (for flat old northwest Ohio). The Oak Openings area is globally unique and has a wide variety of plants in particular. Also there is a wide variety of birds (although I am not much of a bird photographer). Yes, this one looks somewhat different from the one I was able to shoot last year. It looks like this year's is older and more worn, as indicated by the "bald" spots. Here is a photo of last year's moth. 7D Mark II, 50D, 17-55 2.8 IS, 100-400L IS, 10-22, Sigma 150-600 C, Sigma 150 2.8 Macro, EF-S 60MM f2.8 Macro, EF-S 18-55 IS, 28-135 IS, EF-S 55-250 IS STM, 580 EX II, Yongnuo YN-24EX, JasonC007 Diffuser Kit, Gitzo GT2531EX, ARCA-SWISS Z1, RRS B2 AS II clamp, Kirk L-bracket for 7DII, Kirk L-bracket for 50D
