I think I heard somewhere that the count only gets reset when the entire mirror box and shutter assembly gets changed. That makes sense. Just shutter, no reset. Good luck with your sale. I wish I could afford the camera!

You heard that correctly. The entire shutter assembly needs to be replaced to reset it to zero.
