The city actually uses it as a public ice rink in the winter months. During the spring and summer is just a dry space that is often used in the daytime by dance groups and breakdancers to practice.

In the evening (spring and summer) it is sometimes rented out for other public events. I've seen salsa dance session, a Latin festival and the Vancouver Street Dance Festival all held here.

It's a great open air covered space, especially here on the wet-coast of Canada :lol:

Thanks. I was thinking that he could have taken advantage of some nice rim lighting, but I can only guess at his skills and the capabilities of the phone.

It's hard to imagine what these small towns were like when Route 66 was THE way to the west coast .....
