This is a Richmond birdwing butterfly on a Grevillea, taken in the Lamington National Park.

Female (L) and Male (R) Richmond birdwing butterflies.

This was taken in the Lamington National Park. The Richmond birdwing is one of Australia's largest butterflies with a wingspan of up to 16 cm in females and 13 cm in males.

A couple of Male Richmond Birdwing butterflies on a Grevillea.
