I really was surprised at not finding anything related to this. Please, post your photos of people that you see around playing pokemon go! I'll start with the wife in the park.

But how do I tell the difference between someone doing this activity and another person with their face buried in a smartphone for some other brainless reason?

We may even discover a pattern for a pokemon player! I knew my wife was playing, but I saw a couple of other kids on bikes playing too. They were talking about it

I suspect the serious guys are the ones wandering around with external powerpacks for their phones...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Exactly that is what my wife suggested last night. she was annoyed at the battery drainage.

I have an 8 year old. A few times he's taken my phone and walked toward town trying to find some. Because he's so young I just kind of tag along beside keeping him from walking into a manhole etc. I'm surprised I hadn't thought of how great of a photo walk I could be taking while he plays.

I come here for your expert opinion. Please do not hesitate to critique or edit.

John, it's the latest fad of a game that will be old news in 2 or 3 months. I doubt there is a version that'll work on your Nokia 3310 ;)

Sorry to be the Negative Nelly, but my kids won't be playing it. I can understand the appeal but I think it crosses a line. Already there have been several deaths due to this game.

Well that is good news, next question: what is a Nokia 3310? I'm really not into all this new fangled technology.

I live 5 mins from downtown Ann Arbor and the university, there's tons of PGO players! I'll have to snap a few when I'm down there next and share them!

Totally understandable. Some of them are even crossing roads without looking. Not long until we see some idiots playing while driving. With games like these you have to be aware of your surroundings at all times

That should be incumbent on any decent person occupying space in society, regardless of the activity. Unfortunately, that's not the norm.
