I arived just as they announced "Best of Show" & this was it. Jim bought this '65 Mustang in 1978 & took Sabrina to the prom in it in 1982!
The 302cid engine has aluminum heads, a tunnel-ram intake + an extra 250bhp boost from nitrous for a total of 650bhp. AOD (Auto Over Drive) trans & a 9" 4.10 rear end. It has a full air ride suspension & chrome moly roll cage.
Jim did the paint himself. He also did the '73 Mustang Mach1 I posted yesterday that won "Best of Paint".

Those are great Frank! The paint looks like a difficult color to shoot. I usually prefer period style mags, but those 3-pc. 10 spokers look pretty sweet keyed to mtch the body. Nice job in #3 showing the stance - this machine oozes, "I'm special!"

Got any bluer!

Nice paint and detail -very clean look in the engine bay but the interior is a letdown. Maybe he hasn't got there yet, maybe its on his "to do list". These jobs a re never finished.

Interesting to me are the big drilled racing disc rotors. Are they road legal in the US? They are not over here.

:D Am I going to have to take a shot of green (sour) grapes for you guys?

I've never thought to ask & I wonder why yours aren't legal. Maybe they won't last 50,000 miles under normal conditions?

hey have you seen the how to on car lighting?

Does it say somewhere not to take car pics in bright sunlight?
