Sorry I've not posted in a bit on this update I've had, anyway about a year before I lost my boy and long before he was sick I had seen so many dogs that needed a home and some one to give them that special something that for many of them they never experienced that I decided and told myself my next one would be a rescue. I surely wasn't expecting it to happen so soon however, but that is how life goes I guess, one never can predict just how long we are allowed to have our fellow companions.
In so many ways I swear this girl is Kody reincarnated, there is so many things about her that is exactly like my Kody was.
Have you ever seen a "Black Golden"? She is my blackgold, I renamed her too Josie although I should have named her "Shadow". Anyone having goldens know exactly what I mean by that name. If you look close, you can even see gold coming through the black of her coat.
I didn't have her a month and my son stopped by to see her and noticed a bump, then another bump and thought this can't be happening to me, anyway one bump was a bit of concern to my vet so she has already had surgery but is healed now. I had just lost my golden to cancer and I wasn't up to loosing another so thankfully the bump was found to be ok after surgery.
