Some how my CS5 when I crop has changed from inches to pixels. No matter what I do it always reverts to pixels. How can I fix this? I've google to no end.

TIA

Kevin

You can change it in Preferences under Units & Rulers.

Pixels is a more useful and truthful measure of image size, anyhow. Inches is derivative and dependent on the ppi setting.

Both are needed. If you're preparing for print, inches are probably what you need. If you're preparing for web, pixels.

And if you're just cropping for composition, you'll probably press the "Clear" button to make sure there's no values being applied at all. Be very wary (external link) of cropping for composition, though.

You can tell photoshop not to delete cropped pixels. At least you can in Photoshop cc.
