Wow, great framing and focus on these Chris! Maybe a bit more lead space needed on the second, but all captured at the crest of the jump it seems.

Assuming you were in continuous high, did you feel that 6fps was sufficient for shooting high jump?

Thanks for the feedback.

I don't recall if I used continuous mode or not. I typically don't like to because that just means that many more photos to have to sort through.

Those are very good indeed, I know from personal experience how difficult it can be to get good shots of high jumpers at this age ( The mat can easily get in the shot)

I went back to my raw files and confirmed that I was actually using high-speed continuous mode.

Thanks. I think this was either THE first time or the first time in a LONG time of trying to photograph high jumpers.
