A few from our recent holiday

Monday 18-Jul - Sunset over Sandsend

Tuesday 19-Jul - Whitby Harbour.

Thursday 21-Jul - Whitby Abbey by night. There has been a religious settlement here since AD657, the current abbey dates from around 1100, and was seriously damaged in 1540.

Had a fantastic holiday there, unexpectedly wonderful weather. Would recommend the place to anyone!

Hope you did't forget to try the fish and chips, there supposed to be the best in the land...

Actually, the fish & chips were the only thing that really disappointed me. I think I've been rather spoiled; my local chippie (chipper) is very good and the chips in Whitby didn't live up to my expectations!
