Was thinking about the 300mm f2.8L IS USM, Do you grip your 7D Mark II or just use a monopod?

I use a monopod, I don't have a grip but it would be nice so I can more easily shoot in portrait

Jason, nice shots! I assume that up to a certain age, NZ rugby is strictly weight-based? So, boys and girls can play in the same matches and presumably at some point, the weight, strength and speed become too different for it to be done safely?

Hey mate, this was the Taniwha Shield which is the feeder to the Roller Mills Tournament that finished up today or yesterday, I think its Under 13 & Uder 55kg
