I want to buy one either the M10 MK II new for about 550 or the M1 for about 650 used but I'm a little unsure which is the better purchase at the moment for me. As the M10ii launched two years after the M1 has some of the tech of the M1 been incorporated into it that the difference is perhaps negligible ?

I will mainly be shooting people from newborns to families with the occasional christening and minor commercial work so a reliable, fast camera is required.

Thanks

Unless you prefer the ergonomics of the E-M10, the used E-M1 is the obvious choice.

Indeed that's what I went for in the end and it was a good choice. Love it so far.

I find the handling of E-M1 better than the E-M10 mark II.
have fun shooting! :D

My votes for a used E-M5 mkII..

Unloaded my 5D and came back to M4/3 last week and love it. Thought about picking up an E-M1, but ended up with a E-M5 mkII and love the smaller size and some good upgrades over the E-M5 mkI. Better feel than the E-M10 I owned and smaller than the E-M1.

All the world's indeed a stage and we are merely players performers and portrayers.
