....and Im not sure about the older ones but this came with mine and is free to download.

Its called Remote GO and its an app that lets you remotely access your computer from your phone as long as its on the same network.

The file transferring feature is really fast. I use it when I have to snatch a file from my pc and put it on my phone or vice versa. Its wireless and fast and also you can control your pc from your phone remotely. It sure beast emailing pictures to my self or connecting my phone via USB.

In case you didn't know, it makes life easier.

No. It's not safe, it's... very dangerous, be careful.

Confusing. But it sounds like it is just connecting your phone or other device to your home network. It says "It allows users to ... access their computer anywhere using their mobile device at home". But "at home" is not "anywhere".

Its safe. This software came with my ASUS motherboard on a cd when I built my pc last year. The app is available on google play for free.

Just thought id share.

Normally if I have to transfer a picture from my pc to my phone, I email it to my self and then download in on my email app on my phone.

With this software, I just right click the image and an option is there to "send to device"......very fast and simple

ASUS is a well established brand. I trust them and this is my second ASUS motherboard Ive used

I used this to get onto a PC (CA -> TX) in a pinch and it worked great...

Has a Android App as well. What I also like is the capability to remote into other people's PC but only when they allow you.

I use Chrome Remote Desktop, but just to spy on my daughter while I'm at work. I have wanted to be able to copy files from PC to phone easier than this allows so I'll try the Asus tool. Would it work with an older Mobo? I have the P5Q-something.
