Got this CPL below yesterday to find out it makes all my images soft almost like the lens is front focusing or the camera is confused. Now keep in mind I have used this filter with my 1D Mark IV and 70-200mm IS II with no issues at all in the past. I do not have that setup anymore to see if that is the case so I am in a tough spot, Is this a known issue with this lens?

Time to buy a better filter. The Hoya will be good.

Most cheap filters will seem to be okay at normal to wide focal lengths. They almost always show image degradation at long focal lengths.

I believe it due to the flatness of the glass. (cheap filters aren't flat)
