Because Yahoo just got bought by Verizon and such I am sort of sitting here pondering what to do if Flickr just completely dies and such.

I've honestly never used anything besides Flickr and Deviantart so I'm kinda at a loss of another photo sharing community... I really enjoy how Flickr has groups for lenses used/subjects and such

More or less its just a backup, I dont realllly wanna get into porting over all my photos after all unless I have to

There's no guarantees when a company gets bought out, and it will be interesting to see what, if anything, might change. But I don't see any reason why Verizon would want to disturb Flickr's platform. Yahoo finance, for example, won't be going away.

There are many photo sharing sites and it will be interesting to see what they do with Flickr. It sure doesn't seem to fit in with their portfolio but who knows. I can see Flickr being sold to someone else.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
