Was able to get out last Sunday to look for some elk in my neighborhood. Did find this bunch just as they were heading over the hill and down to the river. Of course they were heading into the rising sun and the dissipating fog. I was able later to find a few of them and get a few pics, most of which were long range shooting while crawling through the brush and grasses. Makes for a great morning when one can get close enough to photograph them.:-)

Nice shots Terry! I actually really like #1. Sometime we just have to adjust to the conditions we are presented with, and I think that shot is excellent considering what you were dealing with! Nice job!

.

That first image is wonderful!

I love images like that, where you get to shoot into the light.....especially when there's a bit of fog to disperse the light and soften everything up! You were quite fortunate to have found the elk in such agreeable conditions!

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Thanks Tom. Yes, I was lucky to find these elk and the fog pretty much helped make the picture.:-)
