It was a hot day in Nova Scotia. Even the kingfishers were hot.

at least they get to go swimming- I like no. 2and 3 best

Thanks Al. I suspect they've been around, but given the choice to shoot kingfishers or foxes, foxes take precedence every time.

Nice work in the heat and bright light Ian. The second one is especially nice. I'm envious, having trouble finding one this year so far.

I was out in 100F today, index at 107 by 1pm. Hope it wasn't that bad there.

Thanks Steve. Yes, it was midday-ish, so harsh light, but that's when low tide was, and that's when they fish at this spot. Not QUITE as hot as you've had here, but still way too hot for my Canadian blood  :p
