Just upgraded it to the newest patch 1.8.8. I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not, but I am not able to adjust the manual power of the unit more than 3 clicks. It is set at 1/128 and I can go up to 1 dot below 1/32 and it stops and goes back down to 1/128 when I turn the mode knob no matter what direction.

Can anyone tell me how to get the power ratio up to 1:1 when in manual mode?

Guess not, the owners manual is no help, doesn't work like it says it is supposed to.

Was the flash working properly before you updated the firmware?

Mine are upgraded to 1.8.8 and I am able to change power without a problem. What I do is start in ETTL (press lightning bolt button to get to ETTL). Then press the mode button to switch to manual. Press the second from left button (+/-) and turn the dial to change the setting. I don't know if this is the easiest way or the correct way but it's how I do it.

Just upgraded mine to 1.8.8 and power setting in manual works just fine.
